Tarmac / Asphalt Driveways
If you are looking for a hard-wearing surface for driveways, roads, carparks and paths, then Tarmac or Asphalt could be for you. Tarmac is popular for areas with high volumes of traffic. You can also make your tarmac or asphalt driveway look even better by adding decorative chippings. Tarmac driveway maintenance is low, just sweeping from time to time, and you can also pressure was your driveway too.

Block Paving Drive
Block paving is another great finish for a driveway and is available in a variety of colours, block paver can be laid over a 100mm concrete base (dry-lean) followed by a 50mm sand base to avoid the potential for sinking after it’s been laid. Maintenance includes pressure washing, re-sanding the joints and sealing the block paving to help preserve it from moss & algae plus any discolouring.
Gravel Drives
This is the quickest and by far the cheapest option, readily available in various colours and grades. The surface would need to be levelled and compacted with a specialist machine and it would need redoing every year or two as the gravel is not very hard wearing.
